Web 2.0 Audio and Podcasts Part 2

If you’re struggling to see how or where you could use a Podcast, consider these options:

After you’ve narrowed down what you’ll use Podcasts for, it helps to know what the best equipment is.  Feed for All found at http://www.feedforall.com is a great way to get started.  You can easily create and edit your Podcasts using that system.

Keep in mind that the sound quality will be largely dependent on the equipment you have.  Getting a high quality microphone is one step you’ll need to take in making sure that people can easily enjoy your audio content.

You can start to get listeners by tagging your audio and submitting it for inclusion in the iTunes Music Store.  You’ll attract tons of people who are interested in your niche or topic.

Now, even though you’re really harnessing the power of Web 2.0, you can’t forget that there are people who enjoy reading material over listening to it.  You should always include detailed show notes or a transcript of the show.  This will cater to different learning styles and preferences.
