Why Affiliate Marketers Use Private Label Rights
Private label rights articles can be a great way to save time. Although you shouldn’t use PLR articles as they are, they save you time. The research is already done. All you have to do is rewrite 30% or more of the content in your own words.
Since the key to success for many affiliate marketers is volume, the time savings can be quite substantial. Search engines love large sites with lots of content. If you can build your site to hundreds of pages, the search engines will be all over it.
If it takes you ten minutes to research an article, and another ten minutes to write it, that’s twenty minutes per article – and for most non-professional writers, that’s a fast estimate.
If you cut out the research phase by using PLR, you’ve cut your time per article in half. This can double your volume, and double your potential earnings. You also have to factor in the time it takes to think of topics to write about. When you buy a PLR article pack, you already have the topics picked out for you. This is another big time saver.
If you’re trying to build a new niche website, PLR can be used to fill it up along with your original content. You can use rewritten PLR along with your unique articles to build a larger site faster.
Since search engines prefer larger sites, building a site with as many articles as possible will give you a better chance of ranking well. Larger sites tend to be authority sites, and search engines love authority sites. This will help expose your affiliate links to more people.
Another great use for PLR is gaining opt-in subscribers. In order to get people to opt in, you need to offer them some sort of report in exchange for their email address. You can take PLR articles and combine them into a free report that you can use as a giveaway to build your list.
PLR articles can also be used as filler for an autoresponder series. If you set up a newsletter in a niche, you can instantly populate it with content by using PLR. Again, this saves you valuable time. You can use the PLR articles to set up delivery once per week or so, so you can develop a loyal list without a lot of work.
PLR articles can also be the basis of articles for submission to article directories. Obviously, the articles have to be heavily rewritten before they can be submitted to article directories, but if you’re willing to put in the work to rewrite them, you’ll have a lot of content to use for gaining backlinks to your site.
There are so many uses for PLR content. Affiliates can save so much time by using PLR as the basis for building sites, building an opt-in list, and article marketing campaigns. There’s no need to spend a lot of time researching and writing if most of the work has already been done for you.
