Calling All Audio Affiliates
If you thought audio was just for sales letters, think again. Affiliates can easily use audio to increase their affiliate sales. There are all kinds of ways you could use audio to get more sales through your affiliate links.
Using audio can really boost your income. In a world of competition in virtually every niche imaginable, you need to do absolutely everything you can to stand out, and get your ads noticed.
Let’s say you’re promoting an eBook on your dieting website. You could create a very simple audio ad to draw attention to the ad for that eBook. A good audio clip for selling an affiliate product should have three main parts.
1. The Introduction – Introduce yourself to your visitors.
2. The Problem – Ask visitors if they’re having a specific problem.
3. The Solution – Let the visitors know you have a product that can solve the problem.
Here is a samples script that you can use:
“Hi, everybody. This is Elmer Snugg, here. I’m the owner of BestDietSecrets.net. Have you been struggling with diet after diet, feeling hungry and grouchy? Boy, I know that feeling. But I found a solution that worked GREAT for me. I lost 60 pounds in just 7 months using the secrets found in Super Secret Diet Formula, and I was NEVER hungry. If you want to check it out for yourself, just click the link in the red box at the top of the page. I know it will work for you, too!”
You introduce yourself on the site the visitor is currently on. You ask them a question about a problem they’re almost certainly facing if they’re at your site. You identify with them by letting them know you’ve been through it, too. And you let them know you found a great solution, and you point them to it.
If your site is of top quality and offers good information, then your visitors probably feel like they can trust your personal recommendations. By endorsing the product personally, you’re going to have them in the mood to buy before they even get to the site.
You should think of website audio as your own product endorsements. Just model them after radio product endorsements, and you should find yourself getting a lot more clicks on your affiliate links – and a lot more sales from those clicks!
